PT leadership wants Lula to review contracts with musk company

According to the document, the Starlink CEO became a policy advocate from the far right, supporting the Alternative Party for Germany (AFD) the eve of the election of the German Parliament, as well as being involved in controversies, such as the one that led to the suspension of X, another company owned by Musk in Brazil.

“The distrust of the services provided by such companies has led several countries to re -read the businesses with the entrepreneur, as is the case of Italy, who paralyzed negotiations with Starlink due to the public statements of its founder,” he said.

“Another recent case was the discussion of Musk with businessman Carlos Slim, owner of America Móvil, one of the main telecommunications companies in Latin America. The Mexican entrepreneur, in reprisal, broke collaborations with Starlink, generating an estimated loss of $ 7 billion the company,” he said.

In this sense the purpose of this indication, which is directed to the Executive Power, is the suggestion of reevaluation of the contracts that the Brazilian State has with the company Starlink, through federal agreements.

“The political-ideological and arbitrary performance of his CEO presents a risk to Brazilian national sovereignty,” he warns.

The document highlights how, recently, the European Union announced that it will invest an amount of 50 billion euros in artificial intelligence, with a view to reducing the technological dependence of the countries that make up the bloc. “With the increase in temperature in the dispute of the world’s great powers, the way is to defend national sovereignty, through cyber security and promotion of fully Brazilian datacenters and digital services,” he argues.
