The perception of risk in Brazil continues to be concentrated on issues linked to corruption. AtlasIntel/Bloomberg research released this Thursday (26) shows that 57% of Brazilians consider it very likely that new revelations about fraud or schemes will emerge in the next six months.

This data puts the topic ahead of other relevant concerns. The possibility of an increase in attacks or murders linked to criminal factions appears very likely for 32% of those interviewed, while 30% see an increase in robberies and robberies in the same period.

The reading on institutional risks goes in the opposite direction. Most interviewees rule out scenarios of political disruption in the short term. For 66%, the president’s dismissal is considered unlikely in the next six months. The hypothesis of a coup d’état is also rejected by 64% of participants.

The survey interviewed 5,028 people between March 18th and 23rd, through random digital recruitment. The margin of error is one percentage point, with a 95% confidence level.
