The pieces contain signs, symbols, animal designs and writing with about 4,000 short inscriptions. Most are recorded on small objects such as stamps and ceramic.
67 Signs found correspond to 80% of object writing. The data were confirmed by researcher Nisha Yadav of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) from Mumbai, India, who used computer science to analyze the un deciplished writing. According to her, a jar with two straps is the most widely used signal.
