Brunna Rosa, current head of Strategies and Networks at President Lula’s Social Communication Secretariat, has her days numbered in the position. According to the column by journalist Lauro Jardim, from the newspaper The Globeshe should be replaced as soon as Sidônio Pereira takes over Secom next Tuesday. Brunna is an ally of First Lady Rosângela Silva, known as Janja.

Also according to the publication, the favorite to take over the area responsible for the government’s institutional communication on social media is Mariah Queiroz. Currently, she works on the team of João Campos (PSB), mayor of Recife. Queiroz has also worked at Prole, an agency owned by marketer Renato Pereira, who worked with Eduardo Paes in Rio de Janeiro.

The change, which should be made official after Sidônio takes office, is part of a series of changes that the new secretary is promoting at Secom. Another significant change was the dismissal of José Chrispiniano, then Press Secretary, who should be replaced by Laércio Portela.
