Lula is more disapproved of by men, white people, those with higher income and evangelicals

Leading the dissatisfaction with the Lula government are the votes of men, self-declared white people, the population that earns the highest income and the evangelical faithful. The survey was carried out in person on December 12th and 13th by Datafolha to evaluate the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in these two years of office. The sample has 2,002 interviewees aged 16 and over in 113 cities.

– 40% of men with an increase of two percentage points compared to the previous survey;

– 44% white people with an increase of two percentage points compared to the previous survey;
– 49% interviewed with a monthly income above five minimum wages (approximately R$7 thousand) against 27% who rate it as excellent or good;
– 43% evangelicals. This group’s sympathy for Lula fluctuated two points higher compared to the previous survey. The approval number among the group fell by four points compared to October. The margin of error is five points.
Approval of the Lula government fluctuated one point lower from October to December, going from 36% to 35%. Disapproval increased by two points in relation to the survey, going from 32% to 34%.
