PF director defends new inquiry to investigate Vorcaro’s resources for film
The director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, defends the opening of a new investigation to investigate the sending of resources by Daniel Vorcaro to the United States under the justification of financing the film Dark Horse. The statement was given in an interview with GloboNews.
“It is necessary to analyze new elements brought about possible support from people abroad who are confabulating and articulating against Brazil. Including coercing during the process”, said the police officer.
Mario Frias paid R$154,000 to the company cited in an investigation involving “Dark Horse”

Vorcaro treated payment for Bolsonaro’s film as a priority, says website

The director general pointed out three possibilities for the progress of the investigations. The first is that the new files are added to the Master case, currently being reported by Minister André Mendonça, at the Federal Supreme Court (STF). The second is that they join the investigation that is already investigating Eduardo Bolsonaro’s activities in the United States, led by Minister Alexandre de Moraes. The third way would be a free distribution, by lottery, to another member of the STF.
“Now we need to wait for the legal decision and take the next steps,” said Rodrigues.
In the same interview, Andrei Rodrigues also stated that the designation of Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (CV) as terrorist organizations “was a surprise”.
The general director said that he was in the delegation of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) during the official meeting with his counterpart Donald Trump and that the public security agenda was taken. On the occasion, Lula handed Trump documentation on topics of interest to the country, including combating organized crime, with technical explanations about the work of the Federal Police, including in the field of international cooperation.
For Andrei, equating organized crime with terrorism is a “technical mistake” and undermines the effective fight against criminal factions.
