PGR opposes the PT’s request to seize a passport and investigate Eduardo Bolsonaro

Eduardo Bolsonaro estimates that he will have a passport seized and speaks of 'Combined Game'

The Attorney General, Paulo Gonet, spoke contrary to the request of the PT and Deputy Lindbergh Farias (PT) to seize the passport of Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL) and initiated an investigation against him. According to Gonet, the request does not present minimum elements that justify the opening of an investigation.

“The reports of the news does not contain minimal informative elements, which sufficiently indicate the reality of criminal offense,” said the Attorney General.

The PT accused the deputy of obstruction of investigation, coercion in the course of the process and attack on sovereignty, claiming that he would be articulating, with congressmen from the United States, sanctions against Brazil and the Supreme Court (STF). In the representation, Lindbergh stated that “in total dissentonia with reality”, Eduardo “sponsor retaliation” against Brazil and STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

PGR argued that Eduardo Bolsonaro’s actions are inserted in the exercise of parliamentary activity and that there is no concrete evidence of crime. Gonet stressed that there is no evidence of negotiation with foreign governments for acts that would constitute attack on national sovereignty. The Attorney General then recommended the filing of the petition and the rejection of the requests submitted.

Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro announced on Tuesday, 18, that he will graduate from office to “seek sanctions from human rights violators.” The former president’s son was the PL favorite to take command of the Foreign Relations Commission in the House.

Lindbergh celebrated that, with the license, the PL deputy will not take over the board. “A victory for those who advocate democracy. Eduardo was using his mandate to conspire against the STF, justice and national interests.

The PT leader also stated that the acronym should “act” if the deputy is “trying to interfere with the committee”, responsible for analyzing projects on diplomatic relations and foreign policy.
