Trump discusses border and trade with Canadian prime minister in ‘very productive’ meeting
President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Saturday (30) that he had a “very productive” meeting with Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, in which they discussed issues related to the border and other topics, including trade, energy and the Arctic.
“We discussed many important topics that will require both countries to work together to resolve, such as the fentanyl and drug crisis that has claimed so many lives as a result of illegal immigration, fair trade agreements that do not harm American workers, and the massive trade deficit that USA has with Canada,” Trump said on his social network, Truth Social.
“Trudeau is committed to working with us to end this terrible devastation of American families,” he added.
