‘Trump may have immigrant support for a wall with Mexico’, says expert
Donald Trump was elected president of the United States, after a campaign in which he vehemently attacked neighboring Mexico. Still, he must have the support of immigrants to complete the construction of the border wall between the two countries, said professor Priscila Caneparo, in an interview with Facto News News this Wednesday (6).
They (immigrants) support the construction of the wall. At first it may be shocking, but secondly, if we deepen the analysis within this immigrant community in the United States, they see themselves as belonging to the United States, they see themselves as Americans today.
So, they understand that the construction of the wall is beneficial, not just to stop Mexicans, it is important to highlight, but to stop those Latin nationalities, especially those who come from Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, who are in a constant crisis. And within this, it is the migrants who will feed back into the construction, the need to stop the entry of more migrants, because they see that these migrants could put at risk the good life, the jobs, the quality of life that they currently have in the United States. .
