Trump rebuts NYT article that points out his tiredness and says he is ‘full of energy’

Trump was the oldest person to become President of the United States and the job has clearly had an impact on him since he began his second term in January.

But in his lengthy social media post, peppered with words in capital letters to emphasize his message, Trump said the Times article, published yesterday, ignored his achievements.

He also boasted that he had recently undergone a “PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAMINATION AND A COMPLETE COGNITIVE TEST (‘Which I passed successfully’).”

Trump remains a ubiquitous figure in the media, holding extensive sessions with journalists, in marked contrast to his predecessor, Joe Biden, who left office at age 81.

But as the White House continues to portray Trump through artificial intelligence-generated images that show him as a muscular superhero, the Republican is visibly slowing down.

The influential Times article noted that Trump has drastically reduced his public events and domestic travel compared to his first term, and maintains a public schedule between noon and 5 p.m.
