The Chamber of Deputies approved, this Wednesday, the 25th, a bill that allows the breach of banking and tax secrecy in actions regarding the payment of alimony in situations where assets are hidden by the supporter.

Misogyny will now be included among crimes of prejudice or discrimination, whose punishment varies from two to five years in prison, in addition to a fine

According to the text, reported by Natália Bonavides (PT-RN), “it may be determined, by reasoned judicial decision, the breach of the bank and tax secrecy of the feeder when there is no other suitable means of determining their real financial capacity, or when there is evidence of concealment of income or assets”.
