The photo of the Palestinian’s supposed identification document is circulating on social media. The body believed to be al-Asali appears fallen and covered with a sheet, next to a missile fragment.

In Israel, the emergency service reported that only two people were injured in Tel Aviv during the attacks. Others reportedly had only minor injuries after falling while running for shelter.

Netanyahu says Iran made ‘serious mistake’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran made a “big mistake” with the attack and would “pay” the price for its action.

The promise of retaliation for the attacks was made in a statement by the prime minister at the beginning of a security cabinet meeting. “The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies,” the politician said.

Iran launched missiles towards Israel this Tuesday, causing warning sirens to sound across the territory. Netanyahu’s government has said it will respond “at the right time”, while the UN has warned of an escalation of the conflict.
