Harris and Republican Cheney hold Democratic rally in conservative stronghold

The vice president of the United States and Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, appeared at a campaign rally alongside the spokeswoman for Republicans who oppose Donald Trump, former congresswoman Liz Cheney, who called on Americans to reject ” depraved cruelty” of the former president and elect his opponent.

The daughter of conservative former Vice President Dick Cheney urged moderate Republicans and independents to put patriotism before partisanship at a campaign event in the key state of Wisconsin.

“I ask that you stand up for the truth, that you reject the depraved cruelty of Donald Trump” and I ask “that you help us elect Kamala Harris for president,” Cheney told the crowd in Ripon, the symbolic birthplace of the Republican Party in 1854.
