Nunes says that PSOL is in favor of creating more taxes; Boulos denies raise
The mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB)candidate for re-election, stated, this Monday (14), that he sent projects to the City Council to reduce taxes and that PSOL, the candidate’s party Guilherme BoulosI would have voted against.
In response to the mayor, the PSOL deputy assured that, in a possible government from 2025, taxes will not increase.
The statements were made during the debate promoted by TV Bandeirantesthe first round of the second round of the election.

Unusual hug
Still during this Monday’s debate, Boulos said that Nunes’ team made a “damn fuss” about the distance between candidates in the debate.
At one point, they hugged and exchanged pleasantries in an unusual scene. Then, members of the mayor’s campaign went to the debate production to make complaints.
