After Milton, meteorologists monitor potential tropical cyclone Nadine
If it continues to develop, with wind gusts of at least 72 km/h, the phenomenon should transform into Tropical Storm Nadine. “Potential tropical cyclone fifteen is expected to bring heavy rain to parts of Belize and Mexico,” wrote the NHC (National Hurricane Center), on its profile on X (formerly Twitter).
Meteorologists believe the storm should move into Central America on Saturday (19), with strong winds and heavy rain, between 130 mm and 220 mm. Each mm corresponds to 1 liter of water per square meter.
Hurricane Milton, considered one of the most dangerous in recent times by American authorities, hit Florida (USA) last week. It caused destruction and at least ten deaths, according to the government.
