‘Don’t let the USA become Brazil’, says Brazilian woman to Trump at McDonald’s
The candidate said that “we will do better than ever.” The two greeted each other, and the woman was grateful for the meeting. Trump’s initiative was part of the effort to win votes in the state, one of the decisive places for the election on November 5th.
McDonald’s is a figure for both candidates
Candidate Kamala Harris has stated, in speeches, that she worked at the fast food chain when she was a student. Trump, in turn, has responded by claiming that the story is false. According to CNN, a member of Kamala’s team claims that she worked at McDonald’s in 1983, at the age of 19, when she was a student at Howard University in California.
Pennsylvania is one of the most competitive states in terms of voting intentions. According to the Five-Thrirty-Eight website’s research aggregator, Trump appears with a slight numerical advantage over his rival in the survey released this Sunday: he has 47.9%, against Kamala’s 47.5%. The Democrat opened up an almost 2-point lead over Trump about a month ago, but the difference has been falling since then.
