Ideal for espionage. The operator has a first-person view (FPV) of the environment that the drone flies over and can also take photos, in addition to capturing video frames, which is ideal for establishing surveillance records. Its range is up to 3 km, but it performs best in radius of 1 to 3 km.
Small, but strong and fast. Piranha 5 is just 12 centimeters long and weighs around 300g, but is capable of supporting a payload of 1kg and flying at 220 km/h, according to Russian newspaper Izvestia. This ultralight design allows for more precise operations, as it is capable of attacking targets in limited spaces, an unnamed spokesperson for the Office of Special Designs told Sputnik.
A soldier can carry three or four of these drones on a mission, all you need is to launch the already equipped Piranha 5 to check a forest, trench or communication route. If the desired object is found, you can destroy it, if not, you can put the drone back in your pocket and go back to your tasks

“Flight School”. The Russians hope that the drone will end up becoming a kind of “flight school” for other FPV drone operators, as it is simpler than other models and can make it easier to understand not only how to fly, but also the structures and components. so that the military themselves are able to repair it, in some cases.
