Ex-wife of man who blew himself up in front of the STF says he wanted to kill Moraes

The ex-wife of Francisco Wanderley Luiz, author of the attempted attack on the Federal Supreme Court (STF), on Wednesday night (13), stated that her ex-husband’s main objective was to kill minister Alexandre de Moraes .

The Federal Police (PF) should collect the woman’s statement this Thursday (14). She was located by corporation agents in Santa Catarina and taken to a police station in the city of Lages (SC).

Earlier, in a video captured by the PF, Francisco’s ex-wife stated that the attack had been planned for a long time and was aimed at murdering Moraes. According to her, the plan was to kill the magistrate “and whoever was nearby”.

Still according to the video of Francisco’s ex-wife, he “only talked about politics” and was obsessed with the idea of ​​killing the Supreme Court minister.

At the press conference in which he detailed the progress of the PF investigation into the crime, the corporation’s general director, Andrei Rodrigues, said that “the audio is very categorical”.
