Government of SP estimates R$50 billion in investment with auctions in 2025
The government of the state of São Paulo informed this Thursday (2) that it foresees investments of around R$50 billion with the holding of infrastructure auctions in 2025.
Among the competitions expected for this year is the auction of three lots of highways in the interior, totaling 1,200 kilometers: Paranapanema, Rota Mogiana and Circuito das Águas, the government said in a statement.
The auction of the Lote Alto Tietê and ABC Guarulhos train lines, which cover 194 kilometers in length, in addition to the Santos-Guarujá tunnel, is also planned.
The São Paulo government will also auction the construction of the Campos Elíseos Administrative Center, a new complex that will house all State bodies, with the tender scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025. The modernization of 143 state schools is also planned.
The governor of SP, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), held a series of auctions last year, including the passenger train project between the city of São Paulo and Campinas and the auction for the energy generator Emae, in addition to conducting the Sabesp privatization process.
