“Even before taking office, we already have results. People are saying it’s the Trump Effect,” he said. “Starting today, TikTok is back,” said the future US president today, at a rally in Washington.

Trump said he hired a 21-year-old woman to manage his TikTok account.

According to him, the Republicans had never won an election with young people’s votes and highlighted how Mitt Romney came to lose by 40 points in this age group. Trump said this year has changed the game. “We won by 36 points,” he said. “So I like TikTok. I had a good experience,” he said.

“We have to save Tiktok. Frankly, we have to save jobs,” he said. “We don’t want to give business to China,” he said.

Trump explained that his plan is to propose a joint venture. Without presidential approval, the company would be worthless. “But if I pass it, they’re worth $1 trillion or some crazy number,” he said. “I said: I approve, but let the US have 50% of Tiktok”, he said.
