PT creates social media course for its parliamentarians and directors after Pix case
After the revocation of a rule that expanded Federal Revenue control over transactions via PIX, the Workers’ Party (PT) decided to intensify the training of its parliamentarians and leaders on social media. The information is from UOL and the g1.
The movement occurs in response to the significant engagement that posts from the opposition, especially from deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), managed to generate.
Next week, the PT will hold a virtual plenary with the new Minister of Social Communication, Sidônio Palmeira.

The meeting, which will feature the participation of deputies, senators and party communication coordinators, will focus on the “Communication strategy and combating fake news”.
Jilmar Tatto, PT communications secretary, highlighted that the objective is to create a “united order” and a single communication strategy for all party members.
Nikolas Ferreira’s post, which reached more than 300 million views, not only highlighted the strength of the opposition on social media, but also caused the deputy to surpass President Lula in the number of followers on Instagram.
The change in command of the Communication Secretariat (Secom) of the Lula government, with the inauguration of Sidônio Palmeira, also reflects an attempt to revitalize the government’s communication. Sidônio, who already worked as Lula’s marketer during the 2022 campaign, takes over Secom with the mission of improving public perception of the government.
