Nunes inaugurates Cultural Space and participates in events on the anniversary of São Paulo
The mayor of the state capital, Ricardo Nunesshould participate, this Saturday (25), the opening of the Arts Station in Sala São Paulo, a new cultural space created by the State Government. The inauguration is part of the celebrations for the 471 years of the foundation of São Paulo, celebrated with a program that includes civic, sporting and cultural events throughout the day.
The new equipment, located in the Luz region, according to City Hall, promises to become an important hub of artistic and educational activities. The inauguration, scheduled for 4:30 pm, should also be attended by Governor Tarcísio de Freitas and attract artists, educators and culture enthusiasts. The address of the event is Rua Mauá, 51, in Sala São Paulo.
Earlier, the mayor was present in the final of Copinha 2025, played between Corinthians and Sao Paulo in the Free Market Arena Pacaembu. The game began at 11:30 am and marked the official reopening of the stadium after five years closed for renovations.

Pacaembu received fans who celebrated football and the history of the place. At the end of the match, Ricardo Nunes handed the medals to the players.
According to City Hall agenda, the day began with the civic act at Pateo do Collegio, a historical place where the city was founded in 1554. During the ceremony, the São Paulo flag was raised to the sound of the National Anthem, at a time when reinforces civic values and patriotism.
Next, Nunes went to the Cathedral of the Sé, where he participated in the solemn mass in honor of the São Paulo Anniversary. The religious ceremony was conducted by Cardinal Odilo Scherer and brought together political, religious and civil society representatives.
