USA: Father makes 'musk gesture' at an anti -ablaze event and has a revoked license

Catholic Anglican Church revoked priest license. In a statement published shortly after the event, the institution wrote that Robinson “ended his comments with a gesture that many interpreted as a pro-Nazi greeting.” In addition, the note states that church members asked Robinson to avoid political publications before, which he has not done.

Also, we understand that this is not just an administrative issue. The holocaust was an undifiable episode, promulgated by a regime of bad men. We condemn Nazi ideology and anti -Semitism in all its forms. And we believe that those who mimic Nazi greeting, even as a joke or attempt to troll their opponents, trivialize the horror of the Holocaust and decrease the sacrifice of those who fought against their perpetrators. Such actions are harmful, divisive and contrary to the principles of Christian charity. Catholic Anglican Church, in a note about Calvin Robinson

Robinson commented on loss of license on social networks. He says he learned of the church’s decision through social networks, and that the archbishop of the congregation does not answer his calls. “I will stay here to meet the pastoral needs (from their parishioners), but I am worried about how they will receive the sacraments,” he wrote.

Former Padre accumulates over 400,000 followers on social networks. In addition to being a priest, he is a political commentator and owns the “Calvin common sense cross” program. Last year, he met US President Donald Trump.

Historians see gesture as a reference to Nazism. “Nazi and very aggressive greeting,” said Professor Ruth Ben-Giet, a fascism expert who endorsed the opinion of her colleagues. Journalist Mike Stuchberry, who taught the history of Nazism in Germany and Australia, also said this was a gesture alluding to Hitler.
