Trump receives Netanyahu at the White House

BySimon Rousseau Posted onFebruary 4, 2025 5:31 pmFebruary 4, 2025 5:31 pm
4.fev.2025 - Presidente dos EUA, Donald Trump, recebe o premiê de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, na Casa Branca

Premie left Israel with a six-week ceasefire in Gaza still in force and under the expectation that negotiations aimed at a second phase of the agreement will begin this week. Since Trump’s new government has several pro-Israel figures, Israeli expectation is that they endure the expansion of settlements in the occupied Somby and resist international pressure for the end of the war in Gaza.

In the previous term, Trump adopted measures that benefited Netanyahu. Among them are the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem and the signature of Abraham’s agreements, which normalized relations between Israel and various Arab states, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrein
