The president of the House of Representatives, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), said he intends to be with Finance Minister Fernando Haddad later this week to align the priorities of the agenda for 2025. The statement took place in an interview with Record station, This Tuesday, 4.

“I believe that in the coming days I should be with the Finance Minister. I think this week, perhaps, so that we have the possibility of aligning the agenda that the minister will authorize for the year 2025, ”he said.

At the time, Motta again said that the government’s public spending policy should be readjusted and defended compensation for income tax reform. According to him, there is exhaustion in Congress on projects to increase taxes.

During the interview, the deputy also said that, if called, he will attend the meeting of Minister Flávio Dino of the Supreme Court (STF), with the presidents of the three powers, to deal with parliamentary amendments.
