Kassab defends its own candidacy of the PSD and sees Brazil as a “liberal and moderate” country

State Secretary of Government and Institutional Relations of Tarcísio de Freitas Management, Gilberto Kassab, believes that the “liberal and moderate” project and that the PSD will strive to launch its own candidacy in 2026. The party’s natural name would be Ratinho Júnior, governor from Paraná.

“It is legitimate Lula to dispute reelection. It is not the good or bad government Lula that will guide the decision of the PSD. Let’s strive to have our own candidacy, ”said the president of PSDEM a panel of the Outliers event, promoted by Infomoney in Sao Paulo on Thursday (6)

“I understand Brazil as a moderate country,” said Kassab. For the secretary, Brazil’s successful political projects have been marked by this posture.

Kassab cites governors such as Eduardo Leite (PSDB) and Mouse Junior himself. The main one, in his assessment would be Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans). On the left, he cited names such as Camilo Santana, former governor of Ceará, and Rui Costa, former governor of Bahia-both are ministers of the Lula administration.

For him, although many may believe that the internet has taken a major role in voter decisions, which evaluates how “good projects” have stood out in the last elections.

“The most emblematic example is the city of Belo Horizonte,” he said. “Fuad Noman has already started advanced and won what is considered today the great youtuber of Brazil, which is Nikolas Ferreira, who campaigned seven times a week and lost the election,” he said.

He also mentions the elections of Ricardo Nunes (MDB), in São Paulo, with the support of Tarcísio de Freitas, and Eduardo Pimentel (PSD), with the support of Ratinho Júnior.
