The head of the US Government Efficiency Department (Doge), Elon Musk, said in X that he intends to discuss with President Donald Trump a proposal called “Dividendos do Doge”.

The plan foresees the return of a reimbursement check of US $ 5,000 to taxpayers, funded by the economies generated by the department.

At X, James Fishback, CEO of the Investment Company Azoria, suggested that “a fiscal reimbursement check be sent after the expiration of the doge in July 2026, financed exclusively by part of the total economies” obtained by the department. Musk answered the idea by saying that he would “check with the president”.
