In another recording, he suggests that protesters force the invasion: “Human mass getting there, there is no PM to hold. It will run over the grid and invade. Then it doesn’t take it anymore. ”
“If you have any possibility to influence someone from the movements, I’m trying to plant it on the networks where they are. I’m participating in several civil groups, ”the military said in messages.
In another audio, Almeida suggests invalidating the election that gave the victory to Lula. “To appease, we decide to dismiss, invalidate the election. Put printed vote and make a new election. With or without Bolsonaro, ”he said.
Almeida is one of the 34 reported by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) in the inquiry that investigates the attempted coup after the election of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT).
Another military man cited in the audios is the Brigade General of the Mário Fernandes reserve, arrested by PF in Operation Contragolpe. According to the investigations, he would have elaborated the “yellow-green dagger” plan, which included extreme actions against Lula, Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) and the Supreme Court Minister (STF) Alexandre de Moraes.
Fernandes also appears asking for help from former Jair Bolsonaro Orders, Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, to prevent the Federal Police’s performance. “If the president could give an input there to the Ministry of Justice, to hold the PF…” he suggests in one of the audios. The general would have placed a similar request to Walter Braga Netto, deputy on Bolsonaro’s defeated plate.
The recordings show protesters asking for help directly to Mario Fernandes as they camped in front of the Army headquarters.
“Good morning, general. All good? I’m in need of support here, because we bought a tent and the people are not letting her come in to change. The Army Police, from the HQ. I need support for the release, ”said civil protester Rodrigo Yassuo Faria Ikezili to Fernandes.
In other audios, the general asks a military man to impose that Bolsonaro receives any information that could function as a “discouragement” to give the blow.
“Strength, black kid. Black kid, some sources signaled that the force commander went to the dawn to signal the president that he could give the order. Wow, if you have the president now and hear in time, fucking. Shield him against any discouragement this is important, black kid. Strength, ”said Fernandes.
In addition, the recordings indicate that there were infiltrated military personnel among protesters to monitor and instigate scammer acts. In one of the audios, Cid states: “We have a face infiltrated in all that is place. Monitoring and passing on to us the information. Refuting or helping to instigate, let’s say so. ”
Lieutenant Colonel also mentioned that Bolsonaro had modified a coup draft presented to the Armed Forces commanders. “Today, he stirred that decree, reduced a lot, did something more direct, objective and short,” Cid told the then army commander, General Freire Gomes.
