Germany faces conservative future with a record advance from the far right

Timid celebrations and distrust marked the federal elections of Germany on Sunday (23). With the victory of the conservatives and the far -right breakthrough, the country will have a decisive moments about sensitive guidelines, such as Ukraine War, the Alliance with the United States, the exit of the European Union and immigration policies.

The CDU (Christian Democratic Union) has gained approximately 29% of the German electorate. The party will form Bundestag’s largest bench (German Parliament).
