Ronaldo Caiado says he will launch plate to the presidency alongside Gusttavo Lima

Goiás Governor Ronaldo Caiado (Union) revealed his intention to launch a presidential plate for the 2026 elections, alongside singer Gusttavo Lima.

In an interview with the newspaper The globeCaiado said the duo will start a series of trips around the country. The launch event will take place on April 4, in Salvador, where Caiado will receive the title of Bahian citizen.

Caiado emphasized that, although there is still no clear definition about who will be the candidate for president and who will hold the position of vice, the partnership with Gusttavo Lima is guaranteed. “Let’s go out together to run for the presidency. In 2026, we will decide, ”said the governor.

Although the partnership is confirmed, Caiado admitted that Gusttavo Lima has not yet made a decision on her affiliation with União Brasil. The governor believes that the singer’s choice may extend until 2026, but reaffirmed that the plate will move on, regardless of the party to which Lima will join. “He will decide in his time, only next year,” said Caiado.
