Alcolumbre makes Lula nod and says he knows 'his ability to lead Brazil'

The Senate President, David Alcolumbre (Brazil-AP Union)made the president a wave Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva And he said he knows “his ability to lead Brazil” and that he is “committed to Brazilians”. The speech was made alongside Lula and Mayor Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), which Alcolumbre called a “personal friend” after a meeting at the Planalto Palace on Monday morning (3).

“I know your ability to lead Brazil (Lula). Your excellence is the president of our country, is committed to Brazilians and the Legislative Power cannot steal to help the Government of Brazil improve the lives of Brazilians. I’m sure this is the collaborative spirit, ”he said.

The senator pointed out that Lula’s meeting with him and Motta is a “approach gesture.” “Our country still has many inequalities. We don’t have time to create crisis where it doesn’t exist, because our time needs to be taken advantage of to deliver to people. We need to surrender as a legislature, support the government’s agenda, to discuss all these priority agendas in the house of the people, to propose more initiatives for Parliament, ”said the senator. “Count on us in the National Congress,” said Alcolumbre, addressing the President of the Republic.
