Bolsonaro publishes video in which YouTuber suggests his death, but does not mention PF operation
Former president Jair Bolsonaro published this Wednesday morning (20), on the social network X, a video from 2019 in which a YouTuber suggests that the left should come up with a plan to assassinate him.
So far, Bolsonaro has not made any statement about the Federal Police (PF) operation that arrested four military personnel and a police officer allegedly involved in the plan to prevent the inauguration of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and his deputy, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB ).
The plan would include the murder of both, as well as the arrest and possible execution of STF minister Alexandre de Moraes.
The publication rescued by the former president was released by Vinícius Guerreiro, known as Vina Guerreiro, on July 30, 2019. In the video, the YouTuber suggests that all of Bolsonaro’s family members involved in politics – he and his children – should “end, die ”.
On the morning of Tuesday (19), the PF launched an operation that arrested brigadier general Mario Fernandes, former executive secretary of the General Secretariat of the Presidency in the Jair Bolsonaro government, lieutenant colonel Helio Ferreira Lima, major Rodrigo Bezerra Azevedo, Major Rafael Martins de Oliveira and Federal Police agent Wladimir Matos Soares.
What is already known about Operation Countercoup and the plan against Lula and Moraes
So far, five people have been arrested, including elite military personnel and a federal police officer.
Named “Green and Yellow Dagger”, the plan, according to investigations, pointed to clandestine meetings, the use of advanced military techniques and detailed logistical planning.
Between November and December 2022, the group allegedly planned coup actions in meetings with high-ranking figures from then-president Jair Bolsonaro’s government and created a parallel cabinet to manage the country after a possible democratic rupture.
