Clinic owner of alleged Boulos report has already been convicted of forgery

Owner of the clinic responsible for the alleged report linking candidate Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) to drug use, biomedical doctor Luiz Teixeira da Silva Júnior has already been convicted in court for falsifying documents to obtain professional medical registration.

The 22nd Federal Court of Porto Alegre sentenced him, in 2021, to two years and four months in semi-open prison. Confirmed by the Federal Regional Court of the 4th region, the conviction was replaced by a sentence restricting rights.

The decision was based on a complaint made by the Federal Public Ministry in which the biomedical doctor had used a false medical degree and graduation certificate, allegedly issued by the Fundação Educacional Serra dos Órgãos to the Regional Council of Medicine of Rio Grande do Sul. South (CREMERS) with the aim of obtaining professional registration.

The complaint was received in 2017, but the process remained suspended until 2019, when the defendant was located and summoned to present responses to the accusation.

According to the sentence, the educational institution, which later changed its name to Centro Universitário Serra dos Órgãos (Unifeso), reported that Silva Júnior was never its student. At the time of the forgery, the institution had already had the status of a University Center since 2006, although the document presented by the biomedical scientist to CREMERS mentioned it as “Unified Faculties”.

Another piece of evidence presented is the replacement, in the graduation certificate, of the name of a student who actually participated in the ceremony with that of Luiz Teixeira Silva Júnior.

The case

Last Friday night, candidate Pablo Marçal published an image in which he presented a supposed medical report on Guilherme Boulos, which included a referral of the PSOL candidate to a psychiatric service due to “a severe psychotic episode, delusions persecutory attacks and homicidal ideas, as well as mental confusion and episodes of agitation.” A positive toxicological test for cocaine was reportedly presented by a companion.

The alleged document, signed in the name of doctor José Roberto de Souza (CRM 17064-SP), by the Mais Consulta clinic, in Jabaquara, south zone of São Paulo, says that an escort of the deputy would have presented a toxicological examination in which the result is positive for cocaine.

According to registration with the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM), the doctor in question is registered as deceased. There is still no specialty registered in your registry in the council system. Furthermore, the ID of the PSOL candidate shown in the image published by Marçal is wrong, containing an extra number.

On the same date noted in the supposed record published by Marçal, January 19, 2021, the PSOL candidate went live in the morning, discussing the import of vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic. The day after that, he attended an action by the Homeless Workers Movement (MTST), in the Vietnam favela, south of São Paulo, recorded in a post on his social networks.

After the publication of the document by Marçal, Boulos made a post showing a series of photos and videos of the PRTB candidate together with the owner of the Mais Consulta clinic, biomedical scientist Luiz Teixeira da Silva Junior.
