Datena declares her vote for Guilherme Boulos for the second round in São Paulo

In a video released by columnist Mônica Bergamo, José Luiz Datena (PSDB) declares his vote for Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) in the second round of the election for Mayor of São Paulo. “Against the infiltration of organized crime in São Paulo, against the infiltration of organized crime in public authorities, I support Boulos”, says the presenter, who came in fifth place in the first round, with 1.84% of the votes.
In his statement, Datena highlights the fight against crime and drug trafficking, stating that the city of São Paulo and the country are hostage to crime and “we don’t want that”.

“That’s why I support Boulos for the second round in São Paulo. Vote with him, vote against crime”, says the presenter and former candidate for Mayor of São Paulo.
Boulos faces the current mayor and candidate for re-election, Ricardo Nunes (MDB). During the electoral campaign, candidates repeatedly indicated Nunes’ connection to crimes that are being investigated by the police, such as the “daycare mafia” and public transport companies linked to organized crime in the city.
Both cases are under investigation and there are no charges against Nunes so far.
Candidate Tabata Amaral (PSB), who came fourth in the first round of the election in São Paulo, also declared support for Boulos. “It’s a vote by conviction, it’s not a negotiated vote,” she said.
