In an interview with Itatiaia radios, Better world and BandNewsFM BHfrom Minas Gerais, Lula stated that if consumers avoid buying high prices, sellers will be forced to reduce the values so as not to have stranded stocks.
The president also suggested that the population replace more expensive items with more affordable options and said inflation is under control.
“The meat is very high, we have other products that are high and we have to discuss with the sectors why these prices have grown so much from 12 months here. The truth is that in 2023 the meat fell 30% and then it went up again, ”he added.
