Foreign investment in Brazilian tourism records an increase of 231% in 2024
According to the Ministry of Tourism, among the sectors that benefit most from these investments are transport, with a value of US$ 140 million, and culture and leisure, which totaled US$ 37 million throughout the year.
“These segments were the main drivers of international interest, reflecting Brazil’s potential to expand its tourist infrastructure and attract more and more visitors,” stated the ministry.
“Brazil is consolidating itself ahead of other international destinations for foreign investment, being a politically and economically safe country, in addition to the indisputable natural attractions we have here”, highlights the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, who also points to GDP growth .
“The data shows the strengthening of Brazil as a global tourist hub and indicates sustainable growth, with the country positioning itself as a strategic destination for investments in ecotourism, adventure tourism and cultural tourism”, adds Sabino.
