Ministry says death toll has now risen to 43,259 since the start of the war. In total, 101,827 people were injured, with the majority of victims being women and children.

Lebanon is also bombed

The Lebanese national news agency reported at least ten bombings south of the capital this Friday morning (1st). The attacks took place following a call by the Israeli Army to evacuate neighborhoods in this area considered a fiefdom of the Hezbollah movement. There is still no information on deaths and injuries.

For Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Israel has not signaled that it wants a truce. ”The renewed expansion of the scope of aggression in the Lebanese regions, its repeated threats to the population to evacuate cities and its new attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut are all indicators that confirm the rejection,” it said in a statement.

The Prime Minister’s statement comes after expectations about a possible agreement this week. On Thursday (31), Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, met with American officials to discuss a possible end to the conflict between the two countries.
