J-Lo asks for votes for Harris: ‘I believe in the power of women and Latinos’

The artist, of Puerto Rican origin, once again criticized comments at the opening of a Trump rally, in which a comedian stated that Puerto Rico is a “floating island of trash.”

“He reminded us of who he really is” and not just Puerto Ricans “felt offended” but “all Latinos in this country, humanity and any person of decent character,” the singer said of Trump.

“I like endings like in Hollywood, I like it when the good guy wins, or in this case, the girl,” said Jennifer Lopez at the event, where the Mexican band Maná performed and asked to vote for Harris.

The former prosecutor also included basketball star LeBron James.

“There are five days left until one of the most transcendental elections of our lifetime,” said the Democratic vice president during a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, at which the Tigres del Norte, a group very popular among Mexicans, performed.
