The Federal Supreme Court (STF) holds the third extraordinary session on Wednesday morning to judge whether the former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) He will become a defendant for crimes attributed by his involvement in acts that culminated in an alleged coup attempt in January 2023.

The trial, which also analyzes cases of seven other accused, starts at 9:30 am, in the first class of the STF, in Brasilia.

  2. After the rapporteur’s vote, the other ministers of the 1st Class must speak in the following order: Flávio Dino, Luiz Fux, Cármen Lúcia and Cristiano Zanin.
  3. The board will decide whether the case should advance and be officially transformed into a criminal action.
  4. If the complaint is accepted, the investigators become defendants and will respond to a criminal case at the Court.
