Marçal says he doesn’t want to friction with Bolsonaro: “It’s the biggest name on the right in Brazil”

For Pablo Marçal, former President Jair Bolsonaro is “the biggest name on the right in Brazil”. The statement was made to the CNN Interviews program.
The businessman, who will try to reverse the court decision that made him ineligible, said that whatever his next step in politics – with the candidacy for the Planalto or the Government of Sao Paulo – he does not want to take a collision route with Bolsonaro.
“You will never see me dishonor Bolsonaro. In 2022 I was like this, crazy, I even talked badly about him,” he admitted.

Marçal, who was marked to be combative in the debates of last year’s municipal elections, added: “I believe I disrespected people, yes, and, in the middle of the political game, who did not disrespect to throw the first stone.”
Even so, the businessman stressed that he has been following Bolsonaro since his time as deputy: “I thought he was well of the time.”
“But he didn’t have a republican and noble posture when he had the opportunity. I think he lost to himself. Now, if I go to a dispute in a debate with him, don’t wait for me to friction with him. I think it doesn’t make sense? Because he has built a hope. He’s the biggest right -wing right.”
