NATO confirms that North Korean soldiers were sent to Russia
NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) confirmed this Monday (28) that North Korean troops were sent to Russia to help in the war against Ukraine.
What happened
The Organization’s secretary-general, Mark Rutte, said the measure represents a significant escalation in the conflict. The statement was given after a meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels with a South Korean delegation, made up of senior intelligence officials, military personnel and diplomats.
