“Notification (…) is important for parliamentary control, the judicial system and the rule of law”, reacted Lazimi, former member of the labor party, at X. “I won’t be silent, I won’t give up and I won’t Allow the matter to be buried.

The investigative program, aired by Channel 12, accused Netanyahu’s wife of trying to intimidate a witness in the lawsuit against her husband.

In the episode, alleged recordings of Sara Netanyahu are heard asking her husband’s advisor, who died later, to harass and have a negative campaign on social media against her husband’s opponents, in particular against Hadas Klein, one of the main witnesses in the trial against The Israeli Prime Minister.

In December, the head of government first appeared during his trial for corruption. He considered the accusations against him as “ridiculous”.

The trial began in May 2020, but was interrupted due to the war in the Gaza Strip, triggered by the attack of the Hamas Islamist movement in the south of Israel on October 7, 2023.

The prime minister has often asked the hearing to be postponed due to the conflict.
