So far, 476 non-criminal prosecution agreements have been signed. The agreement allows those accused who did not directly participate in the acts of depredation of Congress, the Palácio do Planalto and the Supreme Court not to be convicted.

In these cases, they must provide services to the community, pay fines ranging between R$1,000 and R$5,000, comply with a ban on using social media and participate in a course on the theme “Democracy, Rule of Law and Coup d’Etat ”.

Those investigated who participated in acts of depredation at the Supreme Court will not be entitled to the benefit and will face trial in Court.

Under the non-criminal prosecution agreement, those accused of crimes committed without violence or serious threat and with a minimum sentence of four years can confess to the crimes in exchange for measures other than prison.
