Rubio guarantees that Trump talks seriously when he says he wants to buy Greenland

When US President Donald Trump says he wants to buy Greenland, “it’s not a joke,” said American diplomacy chief Marco Rubio, on Thursday (30), after Denmark expressed his concern with threats from the threats republican.

In an interview with Siriusxm Radio, Rubio minimized the threat that the US would use its military strength against NATO ally, but it was clear about Trump’s comments.

“This is not a joke (…) President Trump has already exposed what he intends to do, which is to buy it,” he said. “This is not about acquiring land for the simple fact of acquiring land. This is our national interest and needs to be resolved,” he added.
