Shooting attack at Christian school leaves 3 dead and 6 injured in the USA

Six people were taken to hospitals. Two of them are in critical condition, according to Shon Barnes, Madison police chief, at the third press conference in the case, held on Monday night (16). Later this evening, Barnes said two of the injured were medically discharged. “A teacher and three other students were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Two of those victims have been released,” he added.
There is still no information about the motivation for the crime, police said this evening. Investigators also have not yet discovered whether the two victims were targets of the shooter.
Authorities asked that the school area be avoided. “This remains an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available,” they added.
Today is a very sad day. Both for us and for our entire country. At around 10:57 a.m., police responded to a call at the school of an active shooter and, when they arrived, they found several injured students.
