Black boxes stopped recording 4 minutes before crash that killed 179 in South Korea

The Boeing 737 landed without low landing train, slid to a concrete barrier and exploded. The position of this construction, at the end of the landslides and takeoffs, is also questioned.

The preliminary report must answer these questions. South Korean authorities are working with US and France researchers.

The accident happened at Muan airport in South Korea. Boeing took off from Bangcoc, Thailand, and only two people survived, both flight attendants who were in the back of the plane.

A complicating investigator is the failure in the black cash system. The voice recorder and the flight data recorder stopped running 4 minutes and 7 seconds before the accident.

The report to be disclosed is preliminary. Answers about the set of events that have led to the fall of Jeju Air’s Boeing should take much longer.
