Trump suspends almost all rates imposed on Mexico until April 2
Donald Trump retreated on Thursday (6) in his commercial offensive against Mexico, announcing that the products of this country included in North America’s Free Trade Treaty (T-MEC) until April 2.
“Mexico will not have to pay fares about anything included in the T-MEC agreement (…) until April 2,” the United States President wrote on his social truth network. He claims to have made this decision for “consideration to the President (Claudia) Sheinbaum”, with whom he talked by phone.
“Our relationship has been very good and we are working hard together on the border, both as regards illegal migrants from entering the United States and holding the Fentanil,” he said.
