Damage to roads and properties. Damage was also recorded to roads, houses and various facilities in this state, characterized by mountainous geography and several rivers that are affected in the event of heavy rain.

Nadine formed as a tropical storm on Saturday, before reaching the central coast of Belize and then the border between Guatemala and Mexico. The remnants of the storm were over southeastern Mexico on Sunday morning, with sustained winds of 45 km/h, according to a report from the US National Hurricane Center.

The system is expected to reorganize into a tropical depression by mid-week in the Pacific. In the current hurricane season, Mexico, with its extensive Pacific and Atlantic coastlines, has suffered the effects of at least four meteorological phenomena.

Cyclone John, which made landfall twice in the Pacific, was the most devastating, killing at least 16 people in the state of Guerrero, in the south of the country, and causing extensive material damage to the beach resort of Acapulco, which was destroyed by powerful Hurricane Otis a year ago.
