USA: Man will receive US$412 million after unsuccessful penile injection
A man is set to receive $412 million in compensation from a medical clinic after being misdiagnosed and receiving unnecessary penile injections, which caused him “irreversible damage.”
What happened
Man sought treatment for fatigue and weight loss in 2017. At the time, 66 years old, Michael E. Sanchez went to the NuMale Medical Center clinic in Albuquerque, USA, and reported feeling tired and losing weight quickly. Clinic staff misdiagnosed the American and treated him with “invasive vaccines for erectile dysfunction.”
Lawyers say he was operated on by an unqualified doctor. Nick Rowley, one of the lawyers on the case, pointed out in an Instagram post that his client received several medications and underwent several unnecessary operations that did not solve his problem. “This corporate scheme manipulates and uses fear as a tactic to convince these men to do this,” he pointed out.
