Venezuela’s attorney general accuses Lula of faking domestic accident

Saab says the accident is a “sham” to block Venezuela from the Brics. The prosecutor assesses that the decision was made for Lula to “avoid his responsibility” with the leaders and, mainly, with the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro. The statement considers Brazil’s request to keep Venezuela off the bloc’s list of partners.
There is great discomfort on the Latin American left and in the world’s revolutionary movements due to the unworthy and disastrous performance of their government at the summit, by vetoing and cowardly attacking Venezuela, obediently following the instructions of the historical enemies of our people.

Lula participated in the meeting via video conference. During the speech, the president criticized rich countries and rejected attacks on the Gaza Strip. “Many insist on dividing the world between friends and enemies, but the most vulnerable are not interested in simplistic dichotomies”, he lamented.
Prosecutor assesses that Lula’s recent activities prove what he said. Saab mentions that a broadcast video shows Lula active and “acting with total cynicism” and demands an investigation into the fact. “Lula reappeared smiling and unharmed, making it clear that he used the aforementioned accident to lie to Brazil, the BRICS and the world, a fact for which he should be investigated,” he wrote.
